7th Grade Life Science

7th Grade students have a quiz tomorrow based upon their Cornell Notes that they took on August 23rd (refer to google classroom for a copy of notes).  Students should be able to measure using the metric system and be able to convert units using the metric system. They will have to calculate area and volume.

10th Grade Physics

This week in Physics, students reviewed scientific notation. If students did not complete problems related to addition and subtraction using scientific notation, it is homework, due on Monday. Monday, we will review multiplication and division using scientific notation. There will be a quiz on scientific notation on Tuesday.

7th Grade Life Science
This introductory course gives a thorough study of Life Science. This class will include oral work, written work, projects, outside assignments, laboratory exercises and tests. In addition to covering the Next Generation Science Standards, the course will take students through the IB Science Curriculum recommended for Year 2 candidates, as well as provide support for “Principles in Biomedical Science.”

Please note on the syllabus: IN ORDER TO GRADUATE, STUDENTS MUST RECEIVE A 75% IN THIS CLASS FOR EACH SEMESTER.  A grade lower then 75% is not considered a passing grade and students will have to make the class up online in order to graduate.
