Students just completed Chapter 4 “Life in the Colonies” by making posters that showed “Colonial Society,” “Slavery in the Colonies,” and “The Spread of New Ideas” within the colonies. This course will now begin to get more difficult as we start a new unit – “Forming a New Nation.” This unit looks at the Revolutionary War, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the structure of our government. By the end of the week, students should have completed reading Chapter 5 “The Road to Revolution.”
