Community Service

Working within six Global Context areas, Identities & Relationships, Orientation in Space & Time, Fairness & Development, Personal & Cultural Expression, Globalization & Sustainability, and Scientific & Technical Innovation, what starts in the classroom extends beyond as students contribute to causes that support other young people in their community.

Community Service is valued at CIS and we encourage students to think of themselves as thoughtful members of their local community and the world at large. Each CIS House plans and strategizes inventive ways to work as a team to impact our local and/or global community.
