MYP SPORTS Middle School / High School Sports (6-8th grades)
Middle School (MS): Corrales International School offers a wide variety of sports options for students in middle school. Options currently include Co-ed Flag Football, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Co-ed X-Country & Track, Co-ed Soccer, Boys Volleyball, and Girls Volleyball. Facility availability, coache availability and student interest determine if a sport will be offered.
High School (HS): Students are eligible to try out for and play any sport their local high school offers, (contact school’s athletics department for tryout dates) or they have the choice of playing with a High School Charter team that is participating in our league, (if CIS is not offering that sport). Contact Kimberly Romero at email@example.com for more information.
Corrales International School and the Albuquerque Charter School League follow NMAA guidelines. All middle and high school students are required to have a minimum 2.0 GPA, no ‘F’ grades, and have positive behavior at school to qualify to play. Grades and behavior are checked frequently to determine eligibility.
